However, I consider my life worth nothing to me,
if only I may finish the race and complete the
task the Lord Jesus has given me — the task
of testifying to the gospel of God's grace

A word about African missions from The Joshua Foundation Director, Alan Stephenson...

"Tanzania's vast expanse, remote wilderness areas and explosive arrival into the twenty first century demands that the "Word of God run swiftly" into every place - especially before other corrupting influences and religions do! And then there's the reality of eight neighbouring nations all clamouring for revelation - or revolution.

The answer is JESUS. - We must take Him there, and with over 18 years of pioneering behind us and many trained leaders in different localities, NOW is the time to extend these networks and develop them in every way.
There is no doubt that to do this we need "twenty first century means", and none is better than an airplane to do the job - taking God's appointed, anointed ministers and professional teams into difficult-to-get-to-places.

This of course does not just mean preaching and teaching Jesus only! Mercy flights (medical help, clothing and food relief), literature drops, and difficult terrain are all part of why
planes make sense. Join with us in the adventure, and reap an eternal harvest with Scott and Heather Brallier"

We live right on the edge of the Maasai steppe, a broad swathe of wilderness savannah where some 200,000 Maasai are living in various degrees of abandonment and growing hunger for the Word of God, plus tangible evidence of God's concern.

Within a radius of up to 350 miles, and sometimes less than 150 miles, are pockets of other unreached tribal groups: the Digo, Barabaeig, Watindiga, Hadzabe, Kuria, Sonjo, Maghati, Sandawe, and others all ripe for the Gospel.

Scott and Heather Brallier are an outstanding young couple of Christian character and integrity. They and their three children, are currently finalizing plans for a long term missionary service in Eastern and Central Africa. Scott will fulfill the extremely demanding and urgent role of pilot and aircraft mechanic in order to reach the many remote locations, and both will be involved in a wide variety of spiritual and practical ministries. I commend them to you as being worthy of your prayers, encouragement, and financial support.

The work:

  • Flying into unreached areas with practical ministry like food relief, medical evacuation and clinics
  • Flying media equipment into the bush for evangelistic meetings / church planting and growth
  • Flying to cities, towns, and tribal areas working to train, raise up, and support indigenous pastors and leaders
  • Flying to remote areas to start and support new Christian schools and do teacher training
  • Helping other missionaries with critical travel needs into and out of the bush

We have the privilege of ministering to people in remote places of East Africa sharing the love of Christ and bringing the gospel in tangible ways that are extremely difficult to do otherwise.  We work alongside other missionaries with specialized training who have many years of experience in Tanzania.  We can perform time critical missions like medical evacuations, bringing in a doctor for a sick child, medicine, food, water, people to assist with livestock care, etc.  An airplane allows travel to remote places to hold evangelistic meetings, teaching seminars for churches and leaders, starting Christian schools, doing seminars on healthcare and farming, bringing in seeds for crops, farming tools, etc.
